TRAVEL and WORK

 tháng 3 04, 2015     No comments

Travel is more interesting if combined with some experience. If this also brings further cost reduction - much better! One option is to perform a variety of works, either for food and bed, or on a voluntary basis. One of the best options I've found online is Help Exchange - (HelpX)
On the exemplary website offer from around the world is huge: the most options for temporary support come from  Australia, Europe, USA and Canada. While browsing, I found even the possibility of living in exchange for help on the farm on exotic Cook Islands or even more unusually, work on the boat on Tahiti!

The owners are looking for help on various farms, including organic, in hostels, campsites or families for baby-sitting or maybe just for a chat in English ...  They are looking for volunteers who are for some time ready to help in exchange for food and lodging. Or by arrangement for a small fee. But that's not the point, it is primarily a cultural exchange, the way to gain experience and an invaluable opportunity to live with the locals. On average, you are expected to work 4 hours per day, but the thing is a matter of agreement. Usually you live with the family and for some time you become a member.

You can become a member for free. With registration you get an insight into the offer, but you can not establish contacts. For the latter, it is necessary to pay a membership fee of 20 euros for two years - which is nothing compared to the number of options membership opens!
The website was mabe by Englishman Rob Prince in 2001. The idea come with several years of travel-gathering work experience in Australia and Rob is still active today. Among other things, continually upgrading the website based on a number of feedback and occasionally attending hosts or those who seek assistance.

The website is easy to use. Upon registration describe as more knowledge and experience as possible. Among other things, the site allows the search for companions for the journey or an entire trip. Travellers come from all over the world, mostly from Europe.
